Acquired by Mr. Soonthorn Sihanen, a rice officer collected from Bang Khla District, Chachoengsao Province in 1950-1951, the amount of 199 bunches then selected by pure line selection and planted for comparison at the Khok Samrong Rice Experiment Station. and then planted in comparison with local, Northern, Central and Northeastern. Until getting a white jasmine variety 4-2-105, which number 4 means the place where store the ears of rice is Bang Khla District, the number 2 refers to the test variety, the second is white jasmine, and the number 105 means the 105th row or spike of 199 spikes.
Characteristics of White Jasmine Rice 105
